Description:
Amaranth Starch is an all natural starch providing
particle size of less than 1 micron, and a round
shape granule which contributes (1) to silky texture;
(2) uniform cell structure; (3) excellent moisture
retention; (4) good clarity; (5) slightly cohesive
properties; (6) viscosity stability; (7) forms
spherical bodies when co-dried with other natural
gums; (8) enhances body and fat-like features
in reduced fat goods; and (9) offers non-hazardous
(environmentally safe) replacements of coating
and solvent agents in tape and paper applications.
Amaranth Starch is a natural Gras ingredient from
the seed of the Amaranthus cruentus plant. This
natural extracted powder has good dispersability,
exhibits good water binding properties, and supports/enhances
