Diet Types: gluten free, vegetarian
Makes 12 crunch bars
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon reduced-calorie margarine
1 1/4 cups Nu-World Foods Puffed Amaranth
In saucepan combine honey, molasses and margarine.
Cook over medium heat for 4-7 minutes, stirring
constantly, until mixture turns golden brown.
Add Nu-World Foods Amaranth and stir with a wooden
spoon until all the Nu-World Foods Amaranth is
coated with the syrup. Press firmly into an 8-inch
square pan coated with nonstick cooking spray.
Cut into squares or bars and allow to cool.
