Makes 6 servings
4 cups Nu-World Foods Puffed Amaranth
¼ cup vegetable oil
2 cups fresh onion – chopped
2 cloves garlic – chopped
¾ cup tomato purée
¼ teaspoon cayenne red pepper (to taste)
¼ teaspoon paprika
In a skillet, add vegetable oil, chopped onions,
crushed garlic and sauté until onions are
tender and golden. Add tomato purée, cayenne
pepper and paprika. Stir well until blended and
bring to a fast simmer. Bring down heat and stir
in Nu-World Foods Puffed Amaranth with the sauce.
Stir until well blended while crushing puffed
Nu-World Foods Amaranth to make smooth. Remove
from heat to prevent burning. |
